DUI checkpoints this Friday, Saturday

The Department of Public Safety’s Traffic Section will be conducting sobriety checkpoints this weekend, Dec. 13 and 14, 2013.
On Friday, Dec. 13, the first checkpoint is from 6pm to 7:15pm along Chalan Pale Arnold, Puerto Rico across Twin’s Supermarket on the southbound lane.
The second checkpoint is from 9pm to 10:15pm along Beach Road Susupe, in front of the Minatchom Atdao on the southbound lane.
The third checkpoint is from 12:30am to 1:45am along Beach Road San Jose, in front of the CDA Office on the northbound lane.
On Saturday, Dec. 14, the first checkpoint is from 5pm to 6:15pm on Beach Road, Chalan Piao in front of Hopwood Jr. High School on the southbound lane.
The second checkpoint is from 8:30pm to 9:45pm on Chalan Monsignor Guerrero, Chalan Kiya by the CUC Waterloo on the westbound lane.
The third checkpoint is from 11pm to 12:15am on Beach Road Chalan Lau Lau, adjacent to the late Dr. Benusto Kaipat’s residence on the southbound lane.
In between checkpoints, traffic officers and patrol officers will be conducting highway criminal interdiction, saturation patrol at random locations, aggressive driver interdiction program, and speed enforcement.
