Saipan Swim Club will close the year by holding three competitions this month.

First up a mini swim meet for all beginners this Friday at the Kan Pacific Swimming Pool. Then on Dec. 14 it will be the turn of the SSC Masters members to plunge into the pool.

From Marpi, SSC will head down to Oleai for the 7th Annual Jingle Bell Fun Run, which is set for Dec. 18.

The starting/finish line for the late afternoon race is the Minatchom Atdao Pavilion with runners heading to as far as the Quartermaster Road before returning to the pavilion. Registration fee is only $15 and the first 100 finishers will get a free shirt.

Last year, over 100 runners joined the SSC Jingle Bell Fun Run with veteran runner Steven Pixley leading the finishers of the nearly 4.5-kilometer race after clocking in at 19:40.
