Tinian’s North Field will be closed from 7am to 1pm on Friday. The Department of Public Safety will have officers posted at each entrance to stop traffic.
The closure is necessary for the U.S. Marines to use explosives to remove some large ironwood trees from the runways they are clearing. (PR)
The Joeten-Kiyu Public Library is sorry to inform the public that from Dec. 2 to 7, 2013, the library will be closed for inventory. (PR)

[B]Kagman schools PTS meeting on Dec. 2[/B]Kagman Elementary School, Kagman High School, and Chacha Oceanview Middle School will hold its PTSA meeting on Dec. 2, 6pm-7pm at the KagES Cafeteria.
No elections was held last meeting on Nov. 21, 2013, due to lack of quorum. Thus, your attendance for this coming meeting is greatly appreciated.
Before the meeting, special presentations by the Kagman schools will be done for all parents as a thank you for all that they do to support the students! Refreshments will be offered during the meeting (only while supplies last).
Kagman schools are reminding everyone that a quorum of 50 parents is needed to hold the meeting and to have the PTSA officers election.
