UOG professor gets award for scholarly publication
Ning Li, an associate professor of Public Administration at the University of Guam’s School of Business and Public Administration, received an award from the Emerald Literati Network during their 2011 Awards for Excellence.
Emerald Literati Network publishes dozens of academic journals ranging from accounting to aircraft engineering to marketing and business. Every year, each journal’s editorial team is invited to nominate the journal’s outstanding paper and up to three highly commended papers from the previous 12 months.
Li’s paper, “China’s technological capability and Northeast Asian integration in electronics industry 1974-2000” published in Journal of Science and Technology Policy in China, was chosen as a Highly Commended Award Winner at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2011.
“The award winning papers are chosen following consultation amongst the journal’s editorial team, many of whom are eminent academics or managers. Your paper has been selected as it was one of the most impressive pieces of work the team has seen throughout 2010,” wrote Nelli Rubante, external relations assistant, Emerald Group Publishing Limited, in a congratulatory email to Li.
“This is testament to the high quality scholarly work Dr. Li has produced,” said Anita Borja-Enriquez, dean of the School of Business and Public Administration. “Dr. Li is an asset to our school and his research adds to the body of knowledge in this field.”(UOG)
