(BANK OF GUAM) HAGATNA, Guam-Bank of Guam is once again leading the gold sponsors for the Make A Wish Foundation’s annual Black Tie & Tennies Gala on Oct. 8, 2011, at the Hyatt Regency Guam.

Bank of Guam has provided gold sponsorship annually for Make A Wish Foundation’s Gala fundraising effort, and this year, Guam’s most talented musicians present “Motown Magic”-a special musical performance with hit songs from America’s Motown greats.

“Bank of Guam’s longtime association with Make A Wish Foundation is evidenced through our consistent sponsorship and our board presence. Make A Wish provides much joy to our local children through their wish program, and we commend them for their heartful service,” said Lou A. Leon Guerrero, Bank of Guam president, chief executive officer, and board chair.

The Make A Wish Foundation of Guam grants the wishes of children from Guam and the Northern Marianas with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Bank of Guam is Guam’s largest locally-owned bank. Recently reorganized to a bank holding company, Bank of Guam reports assets of over $1billion, with 24 branches and over 80 ATMs throughout Micronesia and San Francisco. (BoG)
