Over 300 avail of free health screening

A total of 327 Filipinos availed of free medical services during the second quarter health screening hosted by the Philippine Consulate General on Saipan last June 3.

The health screening, held at the Filipino Workers Resource Center at the Marianas Business Plaza in Susupe, was a collaborative effort with the Philippine Overseas Labor Office, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, Filipino Volunteer Medical Team from the Commonwealth Health Center, Hardt Eye Clinic, and PHI Pharmacy. Bayani Association also participated in the activity.

Of the total number, 265 individuals were checked for blood pressure and blood sugar levels while 64 were screened for their vision.

There were also 24 individuals who paid or renewed their OWWA membership at the event.
