[B]Scheduled power interruption this Saturday[/B]

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. has scheduled a power outage this Saturday, May 26, 2012, from 5:30am to 8:30am. Affected areas include Achugao, San Roque, As Matuis to Marpi (Far East Broadcasting Station, Palms Resort, Marianas Resort, Marianas Country Club, and Radar)

The purpose of the interruption is to de-energize the primary lines so the CUC line crew may work safely as they replace two rotten primary power poles in the San Roque area across the Palms Resort.

Because of the scale of the work that will be performed, travelers are asked to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas. (CUC)

[B]Tinian sets Memorial Day rites[/B]

Tinian will be holding a Memorial Day ceremony to honor the country’s fallen heroes on Monday, May 28. The ceremony will begin at 11am at the Japanese Command Post Parade Deck at the North Field. The public is invited. Static display and fun activities will be provided. Vendors and local arts will be available on that day. (PR)

[B]MHS Class of 2002 reunion dinner[/B]

Attention all MHS Class of 2002: Our Reunion Dinner Banquet will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012. An early admission fee of $20 per person will be due before June 15, 2012. [B]Jury selection cancelled[/B]
