[B]Navy mourns death of USS Frank Cable sailor

SANTA RITA, Guam[/B]—A sailor assigned to USS Frank Cable (AS 40) died May 19 during an incident at Haputo Beach on U.S. Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Guam. Navy Diver 3rd Class Ryan Bennett, 20, of Marysville, Penn., is survived by his parents. The cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy. The Navy is conducting an investigation. Navy Pacific Fleet Band to perform at Chamorro Village

SANTA RITA, Guam[/B]—The Navy Pacific Fleet Band is scheduled to perform during the weekly night market at Chamorro Village in Hagatna today, May 23, from 5pm to 7pm. The performance is free and open to the public. Under the operational control of the Commander, United States Pacific Fleet, the Pacific Fleet Band is dedicated to providing top quality music and entertainment in support of the U.S. Navy’s retention and recruiting programs, and for internal and external public relations. The band, based out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is comprised of musicians who combine their talents to entertain audiences in Hawaii and around the world. [B][I](PR)
