In an opinion column by John DelRosario Jr., in the May 9, 2012 issue, he incorrectly quotes a Forbes column as stating: “Merrill Lynch and the lead plaintiffs in a class action involving about 70 municipal pension plans in Florida together filed a proposed settlement recently seeking to end a dispute over whether Wilshire breached its fiduciary duties as the investment consultant to these pensions.” In fact, Wilshire is not a party to that suit and the column actually reads: “Merrill Lynch and the lead plaintiffs in a class action involving about 70 municipal pension plans in Florida together filed a proposed settlement recently seeking to end a dispute over whether the wirehouse breached its fiduciary duties as the investment consultant to these pensions.” Our apologies.
