Wild Bill’s slate still clean; Matansa wins
Division A pacesetter Wild Bill’s kept its perfect record in 2012 NMIFA Men’s Spring League after another shutout win last Sunday at the Oleai Sports Complex Field.
Wild Bill’s, which came off a 5-0 spanking of Paire in Week 4, routed SKY, 6-0, in the first game last weekend behind the three straight goals of Thoensaket Jeeraphong. Wild Bill’s now has a 5-0-0 win-draw-loss record to strengthen its hold to the top spot in the five-team field.
Thoensaket was fired up early in the came when he scored back-to-back goals in a span of four minutes. He put Wild Bill’s in the scoreboard in the ninth minute and then had his second goal in the 13th. Thoensaket completed a hat-trick in the first half when he scored anew in the 35th minute.
Wild Bill’s continued to roll in the opening 45 minutes of the game, as Daniel Wollak and Unsa Tanapon made two more goals in the last five minutes of the first half. Wollak lit up the scoreboard in the 40th minute, while Tanapon followed suit two minutes later. Wild Bill’s last and only goal in the second half came from Lar Wongpaya, who found the back of the net in the 52nd minute.
With SKY failing to score a single goal and absorbing its fourth loss in five games, it remained at the bottom of the team standings.

In the second game, Paire and Korean Football Association on Saipan had a draw.
Steve McKagan scored Paire’s lone goal in the last minute of the first half, while Sung Jo Kang made the equalizer early in the second half (50th) minute.
