Jonny’s Bar & Grill’s IT&E Voyagers and Joe’s Steakhouse’s Fotten Palau remain atop the Agingan and Obyan divisions of the Budweiser Open 8-Ball League, but their opponents are slowly catching up after last week’s games.

The IT&E Voyagers went into Wild Bill’s Bar & Grill and downed Shark Attack, 12-5, in an inter-league game and improved to a 119-34 record. However, the IT&E Voyagers are just one game ahead of Poseidon’s Docomo Pacific Home Boyz, which routed Joe’s Ocean Warriors, 13-4, at home to move closer to the division leader.

In other results, the IT&E Incredibles defeated Fotten Palau (79-74), 10-7, on the road at Joe’s, and New Saipan Aluminum’s Hustlers steamrolled in to third place with a 16-1 inter-league road win over Bammy’s Restaurant & Bar’s Boom Boom (37-116).

Obyan leader, Fotten Palau, leads Jonny’s Crazy 8 (76-77) by just three games after the latter creamed The Water Front’s self title squad (38-115), 13-4, on the road.

Then the third-ranked 19th Hole Bar’s Titans (75-78) traveled to Jonny’s and bumped off fourth place Team SCS (72-81), 9-8, while Poseidon’s Yang-Ku (66-87) defeated 19th Hole’s Poksu (54-99), 12-5, in a road match.
