Check it Out still perfect in women’s division
Women’s division frontrunner Check It Out buried Enamo Meta, 23-3, in three innings and extended its unbeaten streak to four in row as the Chamolinian Softball Association’s 2012 Budweiser Softball League season continued Friday night at the Capitol Hill Ballfield.
In the men’s division, Berdax (3-1) defeated Managaha Boys (0-5), 28-15, and Gagu Eyez (3-2) outlasted Saipal (2-3), 24-19.
Enamo Meta stung Check It Out with three runs off four hits right out of the gate, but Check It Out took the punch and blew up the scoreboard for a dominant mercy victory in three innings.
Check It Out bashed four hits as well, but mustered five runs with the help of some shaky defense. Janelle Brel and Rellani Ogumoro bagged RBI singles.

Every player in the lineup scored and Sandy Leon Guerrero (two doubles), Keolani Rios (RBI), Minami Tadokoro (RBI), Brel (RBI), and Jovie Omar (three RBIs) made it around twice. Connie San Nicolas also belted a two-RBI single.
Enamo Meta finally got out of the nightmare inning, but left a runner stranded at second base to start the third and Check It Out managed the two runs needed for the early decision from an error and a walk off single by Tadokoro.

Saipal mustered four runs from a triple by Shiro, a base rip by Gloyd Martin, and a two-run dong by Jordan Hayes, but Gagu Eyez unleashed a seven-run uprising in the bottom frame off six hits. Gagu Eyes kept a lid on Saipal in the third inning and pulled ahead, 11-9, in the bottom frame off an error and an RBI base knock by Cangco.
Saipal’s Ngiraikelau cranked a three-run bomb to help knot the score at 13-all after four innings, but Gagu Eyez kept chomping at the bit and moved in front, 17-13, in the fifth inning thanks to a two-run homer and a couple of extra runs from errors.
Saipal’s Martin and Ico Eli lifted a pair of homers for the bulk of their team’s five runs in the top of the sixth, but Gagu Eyez always had an answer and struck back with seven runs in the bottom frame and held strong on defense in the final stand.
