The SUFA Softball Association has scheduled a 6pm coaches and team representatives meeting Wednesday night at the pavilion behind the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium for teams interested in participating in its second fundraiser softball tournament scheduled from March 30 to April 1 at the Capitol Hill Ballfield.

There is a $100 entrance per team and the first ten teams to pay in full will be allotted spots.

The tourney will follow a double-elimination format with one modified co-ed rule. At least two female players must be on the field (and in the lineup) at all times.

Prizes are up for grabs but have not been determined yet.

Proceeds of this weekend’s tourney will go toward Team SUFA’s trip to Portland, Oregon to compete in the highly anticipated 2012 Annual Labor Day Softball Tournament, which will be held for the second time in Boise, Idaho.
