Chamber welcomes visiting business fellowship

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce will welcome and assist over 120 potential investors from China and the U.S. mainland during a three-day business conference to be held beginning tomorrow, March 16, on Saipan.

SCC president Douglas Brennan stated, “SCC was approached by representatives from this international religious based business fellowship for assistance in conducting their conference. We met with Lt. Gov. Inos for planning purposes, and SCC is pleased that so many have chosen to visit Saipan to consider investment opportunities.”

USA National Director of the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International, Roy Ying, will open the Saipan conference at the Aqua Resort Club Friday evening at 6pm.

Gov. Benigno R. Fitial and Lt. Gov. Eloy S. Inos have been requested to speak at the opening and closing ceremonies scheduled at the Aqua Resort Club and the Pacific Islands Club, March 16 and March 18, 2012, respectively. Inos has confirmed his attendance.

Richard A. Pierce, SCC’s executive director, is scheduled to welcome the businessmen at the opening on March 18, 2012.

The three-day conference will include presentations by Peter Wagner, dean of Wagner Leadership Institute, Fuli Liu, dean of USA logos Evangelical Seminary, Zhonghui Chen, dean of USA Agape International Leadership Institute, and other guest speakers.

The conference participants will be traveling to Saipan from many China provinces, as well as Los Angeles, California. Island tours, shopping, and meetings with CNMI officials and the Saipan Chamber of Commerce to discuss investment opportunities in the CNMI have been scheduled throughout the three days.

The public is welcome to attend the conference opening and closing ceremonies on March 16 and March 18. Dinners are scheduled both evenings, 6pm, March 16 at the Aqua Resort Club, and 5pm, March 18, at PIC. Dinner and ceremonies are $30 each evening. Tickets are available at the doors both evenings.
