MMAC team captains’ meeting today

The 2012 Marianas March Against Cancer committee will be holding a team captains’ meeting today, Feb. 9, at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Chamolinian Room. It will begin promptly at 5:30pm.
“All teams are urged to attend this meeting where vital information will be discussed. We are still actively seeking more families, corporations, non-profit organizations, schools and government agencies who are interested in forming a team to help raise funds for the battle against cancer,” said 2012 MMAC overall committee chair Catherine Attao-Toves. “With this being the 10th anniversary of the MMAC, we encourage the community to come out and help raise badly needed funds for the fight against cancer. All funds raised at the MMAC are spent entirely in the Northern Marianas. We all know someone who has been touched by cancer so this is your chance to honor your loved ones who have been affected by this deadly affliction.”
The MMAC committee is also inviting all bands, singers, dancers, and other performers who are interested in volunteering their time at the 2012 MMAC.
“We have spots open throughout the MMAC, which will go from 6pm to 6am. Please contact entertainment committee chairman L.J. Castro at 483-1027 or email ljmamis@gmail.com if you’re interested in performing at the MMAC or need more information,” said Attao-Toves.
