[B]Jury cancellation[/B]
[B]Air Force, Navy training on FDM, Warning Area 517[/B]
This is to inform all prospective jurors for panels “VS” that the jury selections scheduled for Nov. 14, 2011, at 8:30am in courtroom 205A are hereby cancelled until further notice. For more information, contact jury coordinator Dora SN. Decena or deputy clerk Goerge Lisua at 236-9765. (PR)
[B]Public library closed on Nov. 11[/B]The Joeten Kiyu Public Library will be closed on this day on Nov. 11, 2011, in observance of Veterans Day. (PR)
SANTA RITA, Guam—The U.S. Air Force will conduct training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla on the following dates and times:
Nov. 14-17, from 7:30am to 5pm
Nov. 18, from 7:30am to 5pm
The U.S. Navy will conduct training at Warning Area 517 (W-517) Nov. 15, from 8am to 4pm.
The public—especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators—are advised to stay clear from the area during the times and dates indicated.
The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla training area will be on a 10 nautical mile radius on all quadrants. (PR)
[B]Brilliant Star, Whispering Palms to host annual yard sale[/B]Brilliant Star Montessori School and Whispering Palms School are teaming up once more for the Annual Yard Sale on Sunday, Nov. 13, from 8am to noon at the Whispering Palms School next to Navy Hill baseball field.
The event will be a good venue to buy used books, toys, electronics, furniture, clothes, shoes, baby gear, and other items for sale, all of which are donated by students and parents from both schools. Pastries and coffee will also be on sale at the event. (ST)
