Triple J ties up with Delta for mileage rewards program

Customers of Triple J Saipan now have the chance to earn more miles with Delta SkyMiles, the frequent flyer program of Delta Air Lines, following the company’s announcement yesterday.

Delta SkyMiles members will earn 1 mile for every $1 spent at any of Triple J Saipan companies: Triple J Super Fresh Market, Triple J Five Star Wholesale Foods, Tony Roma’s, Capricciosa, and Truong’s.

To earn miles, customers only need to present their SkyMiles membership card or membership number upon check-out or making payments at any of the Triple J Saipan companies. About six to eight weeks are needed before the miles earned appear in the SkyMiles account.

Triple J Saipan marketing manager Jay Santos said this is a first time for their company to partner with an airline company for a valuable rewards program.

“We feel that this Delta SkyMiles program provides even more benefits to our customers,” he told Saipan Tribune.

Santos said Triple J Saipan’s partnership with the Delta Air Lines and its SkyMiles program is only fitting for the island community. “Living on the islands, just about every household has to travel to visit family, go on vacation, send kids off to school. This is going to go a long way in helping them earn miles to travel through Delta Air Lines,” he said.

According to Santos, planning and setting up the partnership took them several months to work out the program to its last details. Giving their customers the opportunity to earn miles for every transaction they make with Triple J Saipan is a way of thanking their clientele as well.

“We hope that they’re as thrilled about this as we are,” Santos said.

Raffle promotion

Santos said that Triple J Saipan customers still have more things to look forward to with the launching of a raffle promotion next week.

Each purchase transaction made at Triple J Super Fresh Market, Triple J Five Star Wholesale Foods, Tony Roma’s, Capricciosa, and Truong’s from Nov. 14 to Dec. 23 entitles a customer to a raffle ticket. No minimum purchase is necessary.

The raffle draw will give away exciting prizes like gift certificates to Tony Roma’s, Capricciosa, and Truongs; $100 shopping sprees to Triple J Super Fresh Mart, a 42” Zenith Plasma TV, and the grand prize of a roundtrip ticket to Hawaii or anywhere in the U.S. mainland.

Promotion winners will be drawn on Dec. 23. “We’re hopeful that this will be a very nice Christmas present for our customers,” said Santos.
