Marianas High School students and faculty express excitement over the much needed and practical support given by the American Red Cross. The cleaning supplies are a big help for teachers as they provide a clean environment for their students to learn. (ARC-NMI CHAPTER) The NMI Red Cross recently donated hundreds of cleanup kits to both public and private schools.

J.D. Tenorio, Emergency Services director of the American Red Cross, NMI Chapter stated that they felt these kits would be put to good use in the schools-many of which double as evacuation shelters during typhoons.

“The success of our chapter in the NMI is due in large part to the great partnerships we have forged with both government and private agencies over the years, and this is our way of saying thank you for all the support we have received,” Tenorio added.

If you or someone you know would like to volunteer or donate, contact the local American Red Cross Chapter at 234-3459 or visit their website at www.nmi.redcross.org. (American Red Cross-NMI Chapter)
