MP United 1, Tan Holdings keep unbeaten records
MP United 1 and Tan Holdings preserved their undefeated records after shutting out separate foes in Week 4 of the boys U15 competition in the 2011 NMIFA Youth Football Fall League last Saturday at the Oleai Sports Complex.
Tan Holdings played in the first game of the weekend and showed no mercy against the all-female squad of Shirley’s FC 2, 10-0, to improve to a 3-0-0 win-draw-loss record.
Tanapon Unsa led Tan Holdings with four goals, while Dan Denric Ibarra and Mark Gerald Mora each added two. Hark Joshua Galarion also made it to the scoreboard.
With its third straight win, Tan Holdings kept pace with MP United 1, which owns a 4-0-0 mark, while Shirley’s 2 has yet to win in three matches.
MP United 1 stretched its streak to four after a 6-0 demolition of Paire.
Jehn Joyner had a hat-trick for MP United 1, while Ryota Ito scored a pair, and Kaisei Toda chipped in one.
Ryota and Joyner tallied the first two goals for MP United 1 in the first half before Toda also found the back of the net in the second.
Paire absorbed its second loss in three games to drop to fifth place in the seven-team field.
Matansa 6, Shirley’s FC 11
Matansa moved up from fifth to third place after beating Shirley’s FC 1.
The Glen Perez-coached Matansa now has a 2-1-1 slate, following its convincing win in Week 4, while Shirley’s FC 1 dropped to a 0-0-4 card.
David James Bucayo paced Matansa with three goals, while Sean Perez, Jeong Wook Hwang, Jireh Yobech, and Michael Fidelino scored one each.

GIRLS U15
Paire 6, Tan Holdings 0[/B]
Over at the San Antonio Elementary School Field, Paire finally broke into the win column after losing its first three games.
Kayleen Salle notched three goals for Paire, while Mikael Duenas and Hatsuko Bearden added one apiece.
Tan Holdings is still winless in three games with one more match left in the first round of the double-round competition.
MP United 2, Shirley’s FC 2
The other game at the San Antonio pitch ended in a draw.
MP United scored all its goals in the second half to tie Shirley’s FC, which had the lead at halftime, 1-0, but could not keep the win after making only one goal in the second half.
Alexandria Vergara broke the ice in the first half, while Jeraldine Castillo scored for Shirley’s in the second. Hae Ki Kim and Seong Hyun Lee found the back of the net for MP United in the second half to force a deadlock.

BOYS U18
MP United 5, Paire 1[/B]
In the lone boys U18 match at the Oleai pitch, MP United got even with Paire.
MP United lost the league opener to Paire, 2-3, but recovered in their second meeting last weekend.
Joyner also suited up for MP United’s U18 team and contributed two goals, while Dae Min Jeon, Moon Bin Hong, and Chris Park chipped in one each. Colin Fruit made the lone goal for Paire.
