Consulate sets skills training for final quarter
The Philippine Consulate General through the Philippine Overseas Labor Office has announced a new schedule of skills upgrading and livelihood courses for the last quarter of 2011.
The Basic Computer Operations 1 – Batch 54 will be offered on six Sundays from Oct. 16 to Nov. 20, from 1pm to 5pm. Zaldy P. Quebral and Marilyn D. Quebral will serve as course instructors.
Classes for the Fruit and Vegetable Carving class – Batch 3 under instructor Eduardo M. Elenzano will be held on four Saturdays from Oct. 1 to 22, from 8:30am to 11:30am.
The Domestic Refrigeration and Aircon Mechanic – Batch 2 to be conducted by James R. Abuy is scheduled on three Saturdays, from 9am to 5pm on Nov. 5 and 12 and from 9am to noon on Nov. 19.
All three courses will have a Business Management Seminar component to be handled by Ignacio D. Bañadera, Jr.
Filipinos interested to avail any of the courses need to present an umbrella permit, passport, and one ID picture. Slots are on a first-come-first-served basis.
