United Continental launches fare sale to Okinawa

GUAM—United Continental Holdings, Inc. announced the launch of a fare sale and double mile campaign with the introduction of non-stop four-times-weekly service between Guam and Okinawa, Japan, which will begin September 28, 2011.

Roundtrip fares to Okinawa will start as low as $384 from Guam and $459 from Saipan. The special fare offer is valid for outbound travel starting Sept. 28, 2011, and lasting through Dec. 17, 2011. Tickets must be issued three days after reservations are made or 14 days prior to departure (whichever is earlier), but no later than Sept. 30, 2011. Travel is valid only on CO/UA 174 and 146 flights with a minimum two-day stay and maximum stay of 14 days. All segments must be confirmed at time of ticketing and an open return is not permitted. Upgrades and mileage accruals are applicable. Any changes to the itinerary may be made prior to scheduled flights with a $25 administrative service fee and subject to availability and new fare conditions. Changes requested after departure of the originally scheduled flights are not permitted. Tickets are non-refundable and fares are subject to a fuel surcharge each way and do not include taxes and PFC charges of as much as $24 per ticket. Other restrictions may also apply.

United/Continental Airlines have also launched a double mile campaign. Through March 31, 2012, applicable on round trips between Guam and Okinawa, fares will accrue miles at double the usual rate. In order to participate in the campaign, passengers on applicable flights will be required to register before traveling at Continental’s website: www.continental.com/onepass and enter promotion code 53046 for registration.
