Docomo Hustlers pace Agingan, two-way tie in Obyan
Utopia Sports Bar’s Docomo Hustlers are the current Agingan Division leader of the Saipan Billiards Association-2011 Budweiser Summer/Fall 8-Ball League, while there is a two-way tie atop the Obyan Division after the season unveiled last week.
19th Hole Bar & Grill’s Poksu and Wild Bill’s Shark Attack share identical win-loss cards of 5-2 in the six-team Obyan field.
In Agingan play, the Hustlers routed X-tream, 6-1, on the road at VFW Post 3457. Second-ranked Home Boys Five, of Jonny’s Bar & Grill, bested Fotten Palau, 5-2, on the road at Joe’s Bar.
Home Boys dropped two of their first three singles matches but swept the last two and took both double matches.
Sand’s Bar’s IT&E Incredibles edged out IT&E Voyagers, 4-3, in a road match at Jonny’s. IT&E Indcredibles won three of the five singles matches and clinched the match after taking the first double game.
Hustlers’ Robert Saciangco and Jerry Soriano each ran the table once in their respective matches.
Home Boys Boys Five hosts the Docomo Hustlers; X-tream welcomes IT&E Voyagers; and Fotten Palau has a date with the IT&E Incredibles as Week 3 continues on Tuesday.
Obyan’s Shark Attack dropped Jonny’s Crazy B, 5-2, at home; while Poksu ran over sister-team Titans, 5-2, in a road match.
Jonny’s Team SCS snuck past D’Pirates Bar & Grill’s Pirata, 4-3, at home.
