Staff of the Dog Control Program under the Saipan Mayor’s Office are conducting dog registration at the Dandan Elementary School.

Ray B. Lizama, program director, said they moved to the new location since Monday. The last dog registration site was at the Koblerville Fire Substation.

“We encourage dog owners to please register your pets,” he told Saipan Tribune. “We will be at Dandan Elementary School for the next two weeks.”

Lizama urged pet owners in Dandan and nearby villages to take advantage of the new registration site’s proximity.

He reminded pet owners who will register their dogs to visit any of the three government cashier offices first to pay for the license fees before they go to the registration site. These are the Treasury Office on Capital Hill, the Tax and Revenue Office in Dandan, or the Commonwealth Superior Court in Susupe.
