Bayani/Mobil gunner Jun Estolas is on top of the scoring leaderboard in the ongoing UFO Inter-Organization Basketball Friendship League Viso-Bud Cup 2011.

In four games, the Mobil guard averaged 25.75 points. Estolas’ biggest output came during their game against UPAA/Docomo Hoopaholics when he scored 32 points. He had another 30-point production against MDX during their third game and then tallied 22 in their 79-76 loss to MAFEA/Ali’i Konflikt. Last year’s Mythical Five member collected 19 points in their first game of the season against Cavite/Andok’s.

Namfrel/Proa’s Pete Iguel is in second place, averaging 22.5 points per game, followed by the Hoopaholics’ Dave Sablan (21.5 ppg), NMBA/Mixed Blood’s Dennis Morales (21 ppg), and Ali’i Konflikt’s Ivan Devero (20.5). Proa has played only two games and Iguel scored 20 in the first match over MAFEA and 24 against VisMinda/Satbahi. Sablan played in all of the Hoopaholics four matches and had his best scoring night against Cabalen/Noni, firing 23 points. Morales and Devero’s highest scores in four games were 25 (over MDX) and 26 (against Mobil), respectively.

In the rebounds department, VisMinda’s Darwin Barbo lords it over against five others. The VisMinda center averaged 12.5 rebounds in three games to lead Cavite’s Tim Wesley (10.75), the Hoopaholics’ Kelvin Fitial (10) and Mel Manibusan (9.25), Proa’s Jack Lizama (9), and Mobil’s Gyles Ruluked (9).

The Hoopaholics’ Dave Sablan is currently ranked No. 1 in assists with his 4.5 average per game, followed by Jack Lizama (4), Mobil’s Ron Gamboa (2.5), VisMinda’s Rolly Paraiso (2.5), and MAFEA’s J.R. Barrios (2.5).

In steals, there is a thee-way tie among Proa’s Dan Barcinas and Quincy Johnson and Cavite’s Mike Olaitiman, as they averaged five per match. Elmer Esdrelon is in second with 3.5, while VisMinda’s Marlon Sison and Estolas are tied with an average of three steals each.

Wesley leads the league in blocks with 2.75 per game, ahead of MAFEA’s Jawn Joyner (2.25), Jack Lizama (2), and NMBA’s Arthur Montes (2).

In the team standings, Proa is the lone undefeated squad with its 2-0 record. Bayani, VisMinda, and the Hoopaholics are in a deadlock for second with similar 3-1 slates, followed by Cabalen (2-1), MAFEA (2-2), NMBA (1-2), MDX (0-4), and Cavite (0-4).
