IT&E Incredibles wins Agingan Bud Cup

IT&E Incredibles of Jonny’s Bar & Grill defeated the Docomo Hustlers, 4-1, last week at Utopia Sports Bar to win the Saipan Billiards Association Open 8-Ball League’s Budweiser Cup in the Agingan division.
Team members include captian Mark Butac, Eric Caisit, James Wabanga, Dean Borja, and Chester Hamoy. IT&E finished runner-up in the regular season of the four-team field.
In the Obyan division, second-ranked Fotten Palau was scheduled to face the Turtles of USSP Peleliu Club at VFW Post 3457 Tuesday night to see who hoists the Obyan division cup. Six teams make up the division.
Last week, the fifth-ranked and visiting Turtles knocked out the last place Pirates of D’Pirates Bar & Grill, 4-3, on the road to advance to the finals, while Fotten Palau skunked X-Tream, 4-0, on the road at VFW Post 3457.
The SBA awards ceremony will be held on July 31 at Charlie’s Cabaret at the Pacific Islands Club.
Mar-Pac Budweiser sponsors the league.
Meanwhile, registration forms for the Summer/Fall 2011 season are available at the Pacific Amusements office in Garapan next to QQ Car Rental. Deadline for registration is set for August 9.
