NMIVA offering free Saturday clinics through Dec. 18

The Northern Marianas Volleyball Association is inviting all interested players to participate in free volleyball clinics on Saturday mornings from 8am to 10am beachside at Fiesta Resort & Spa.
The clinics, which will be held Saturdays beginning today until Dec. 18, will be conducted by CNMI national team coach Russ Quinn and veteran national player Tyce Mister
The clinics are open to the public and there are no fees to participate.
Clinics are open to all players ages 10 and above and adult supervision is preferred for players under 14.
Learning points include an overview of the basic fundamentals, game strategy, and conditioning.
Participants will also get a chance to see the CNMI national team training up close, as they will be showcasing their skills and help out with the clinics. NMIVA attests the clinics are both a great workout and a way for families to spend a Saturday morning in the sand.
Players must provide their own clothes, water or sports drinks, and transportation.
