Saipan’s Next Top Chef Competition, a fundraiser event for the Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation, will be held at the Pacific Islands Club this Saturday, July 16, 2011, from 2pm to 4pm, with contestants competing for third, second, and Grand Prize awards.

There will be exciting raffle drawings generously donated by sponsors such as cell phones, several lunch buffets, a romantic dinner for two, special lunch, hotel packages, body massage and facial spa, cookware, and many others.

During intermissions, the program will include dancing with Saipan Stars-Body Movers featuring Dr. Esther Kanayjorn and Allen Cuyugan.

The organizer, Empty Vessel Ministry foundation Saipan Chapter, said its major sponsor, Pacific Island Club, is helping it host and organize the competition.

“We would also like to thank our other generous sponsors, including Triple J Five Star Wholesale, Taro Sue Store, Docomo Pacific, Serenity & Spa, Fiesta Resort & Spa, Marianas Resort & Spa, Saipan Grand Hotel, Bank Pacific, Marianas Business Plaza, Hyatt Regency Saipan, and the Kagman High School—Culinary students.

“Our appreciation is also extended to those individuals, families, and businesses that have already supported this fundraiser by purchasing tickets,” a church statement says.

Tickets for the event are still on sale for just $25 and may be purchased at the PIC Saipan, the Empty Vessel Ministry Office in Gualo Rai, and the booth at Street Market on Thursdays.
