A man who was arrested previously for domestic violence was apprehended again on Tuesday for allegedly threatening to behead his stepfather with a machete.

Faustino P. Litulumar, 22, was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon, and disturbing the peace. His bail was set at $5,000 cash.

Preliminary hearing will be on Oct. 19 at 9am.

Detective Peter A. Aldan stated in his report that Litulumar, armed with a machete, had arrived at his mother’s house in Koblerville at 12:30am, threatening to behead his mother’s common-law husband, Terwik Ludwig.

Ludwig climbed out of the bedroom window and ran to the nearby KB Market and Laundry to report the incident to the police.

Fearing that Litulumar might turn on her, the mother escorted her son away from her house. She then walked to KB Market and Laundry where she met Ludwig, who was with a police officer.

A police officer later spotted Litulumar passing by in a car. The officer chased the vehicle and arrested the defendant.

Last April 16, Litulumar and his girlfriend Gina Bhagchadani, 37, and his mother, Margarita S. Litulumar, 42, were all arrested for fighting after a drinking session at their house in Koblerville.

On July 5, police arrested Faustino Litulumar and Bhagchandani for child neglect after their 9-year-old son called the police on his parents for being drunk and repeatedly arguing.

A responding police officer learned that Bhagchandani, Litulumar, and his mother were all under the influence of alcohol. The officer noted that there were children at the area that were unattended and neglected because both parents were drunk.
