(PR) Gate change at Naval Hospital Guam SANTA RITA, Guam-Visitors to Naval Hospital Guam are advised that an interim gate will be used to access Naval Hospital grounds beginning at 5am on July 5. The current gate will be closed to ease the traffic flow connected to the ongoing construction of the new hospital. The new gate is 320 feet east of the original gate on Route 7 and will remain the main access gate to NHG until the new hospital construction completion in 2014.

The Pass and ID office to obtain passes to access Naval Hospital grounds will remain in building 16 at the original Naval Hospital gate entrance.

Motorists are asked to observe all applicable signs and directions. Naval Base Guam and Naval Hospital appreciates the patient and visitor patience during the gate transition and ongoing construction activities.

The existing Naval Hospital will remain open during construction, but will be demolished once the new hospital is operational in the fall of 2014. (PR)
