Energy Division’s EECBG now in Gualo Rai
The CNMI Division of Energy of the Department of Public Works has relocated its Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program Office from Capital Hill to the Springs Development Inc. Building in Gualo Rai, next to the Coastal Resources Management Office.
In addition, the division said it is still accepting applications for services for the Energy Star Rebate Incentive Program and the Residential Weatherization Program under the Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant.
These programs are designed to encourage CNMI residents to implement energy efficiency measures through the retrofitting and replacement of inefficient lightings and home appliances with Energy Star-rated lightings and appliances to reduce energy bills.
For individuals interested in obtaining applications for services under our Energy Star Rebate Incentive Program or the Residential Weatherization Program or wishing to learn more about the programs available, visit the new office in Gualo Rai or contact them at 664-4487/4489/4490 or fax 664-4488.
