Team Pac Chain is inviting all interested teams to participate in their fundraiser softball tournament set from July 1 to July 3 at the Capital Hill Ballfield.

The event aims to help Team Pac Chain raise fund to travel to Portland, Oregon this September for the 2011 CNMI Labor Day Softball Tournament.

Prizes are up for grabs, but have not yet been determined.

Organizers have scheduled a meeting for interested participants on June 29, 6pm at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium conference room.

The entrance fee is set at $125 per team and the first 10 teams to pay in full can participate in the three-day event.

The tourney will follow a double-elimination format with one modified co-ed rule. Two female players will be required on the field and in the line up at all times.

In addition, lunches will be sold at the Capital Hill Ballfield on July 2.

Team Pac Chain is made up of CNMI residents and students in Boise, Idaho that attend Boise State University and various high schools in the Boise area.

Team Pac Chain finished second last year to the Island Boys out of Seattle, Washington. The event drew 32 teams and was held in Kent, Washington.
