Five allegedly beat up female store cashier, two other men

A female cashier was seriously hurt when five allegedly drunk persons, including three women, beat her up and two other men at a store in Chalan Kanoa Saturday morning.
The victim was taken to the Commonwealth Health Center for treatment of a broken nose, cheek fracture, and a swelling bruise on her head, police said.
The suspects-Cheroleen Ray, 20; Arinna Reiong, 26; Nornia Tipingeni, 22; Anson Sansi, 24; and Mark Rudolph, 25-were hauled to the Superior Court yesterday to face charges of aggravated assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon, and disturbing the peace. Bail was set at $50,000 cash for each suspect expect for Rudolph, whose bail was set at $2,000 cash as he was arrested only for assault and battery, disturbing the peace, and attempted theft.
According to police reports, Ray, together with the two other female suspects and Sansi, beat up the female cashier of the Dhaka Store along Texas Road early Saturday morning.
A male victim went inside to stop the group, but Rudolph prevented him from going in. Ray also punched the male victim. Rudolph also allegedly tried to open the cash register.
Sansi also allegedly beat up a male customer who tried to stop the female suspects from assaulting the cashier.
Police officer Juan Mendiola, who responded to the scene was forced to spray pepper mace on Ray after she assaulted one of the male victims.
Mendiola found the cashier lying in a pool of blood on the floor. An ambulance transported her to CHC.
