Northwest named title sponsor of MMAC

Delta/Northwest Airlines will become a title sponsor for the 2009 Marianas March Against Cancer for the third year in a row.

The 2009 Marianas March Against Cancer Committee said that Delta/Northwest Airlines has donated a free ticket to anywhere in Asia, a free ticket to the U.S., plus other travel related items.

The 2009 MMAC Committee has distributed raffle tickets to the MMAC teams to sell to the public for only $5 each. The lucky winners will receive one of several great prizes courtesy of Delta/Northwest Airlines.

“The 2009 MMAC Committee would like to congratulate Delta/Northwest Airlines for becoming a title sponsor for the 2009 Marianas March Against Cancer. All funds raised for this event will be spent locally on cancer awareness programs and other special services provided to cancer patients in the CNMI,” the committee said in a statement.

The 2009 MMAC will be held on May 22-23, 2009, from 6pm to 6am at the Hopwood Junior High School field in Chalan Piao.[B][I] (PR)[/I][/B]
