Inert and Live Fire Releases at FDM set

The Emergency Management Office, in conjunction with U.S. Naval Forces Marianas (N3) Guam, would like to inform the general public that the U.S. Military Unit would be conducting Inert Releases and Live Fire Releases (13 EBS) on the island of Farallon De Mendenilla. The schedule date and time is as follows:
-May 12-14, 2009 from 9am to 3pm – INERT RELEASES 13 EBS
-May 14-21, 2009 from 9am to 3am – CVW-9 LIVE FIRE RELEASES
The general location of this activity will be on the island of Farallon De Mendenilla Training Area (R7201) on a ten (10) nautical mile radius on all quadrants.
Due to the danger imposed by this activity, Gov. Benigno R. Fitial is strongly advising the general public especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators to stay away from this area during the time and date indicated.
