Pangelinan and Ray Takai teamed up to beat Kapileo and Perry Inos in the doubles.

Basa and Guerrero also prevailed in the other doubles match against Edward Suzuki and Lino Tenorio that gave Huwa an 11-3 win-loss record on top of the division standings.

USSP Wat-Ever also coasted to an easy 6-1 win against BwiiBwi’s Da Snipers to join BwiiBwi’s Shark Attack in second place.

Wat-Ever and Shark Attack are now tied with their 9-5 win-loss cards.

Bill Kaipat and Kun Kainoa posted wins over Leo Sablan and Tom Tebuteb but Mike Kileleman lost to Oscar Sablan.

However, Wat-Ever won the last four matches with victories by Nolas Kaliga and Gus Taitano in the singles over Steve Limes and John Peter.

Then Kaliga and Joe Shokang defeated Sablan and Nizer Masayos in the first doubles and Kileleman and Taitano paired to win the second doubles match over the tandem of Tebuteb and Sablan.

Shark Attack escaped with a 4-3 win against USS Fotten Palau.

Patrick Taitano and Bill Limes sealed the win by toppling John Mongami and Ron Chisato in the second doubles that broke a 3-3 deadlock.

Fotten Palau’s Taylor Watanabe swept Shark Attack’s Bernard Kileleman in the first singles, but Patrick Taitano tied the count with a win over John Mongami.

Shark Attack took the lead anew with a win by Rick Rengiil, who recovered from a 0-1 deficit in the first frame to eke out a 2-1 decision over Bill Limes.

Ben Norita and Dan Eugenio gave Shark Attack a 3-2 lead with wins over Stan Villagomez and Ron Chisato, respectively, in the last two singles.

Taylor Watanabe and Rick Rengiil defeated Kileleman and Norita to tie the score at 3-all.

Perfect Spotters 5, Warriors 2

Monte Carlo Perfect Spotters nailed a 5-2 victory over the VFW Warriors to bounce back from their 2-5 loss to Shark Attack last Feb. 24.

Bradley Demapan, Lino Ibis, Serge Tibudan, and James Wabinga won over their respective foes in the singles, which more than made up for the loss of Joyen Mejia to Dean Borja.

Demapan and Ed Gabito stepped in the first doubles and gave the Perfect Spotters a 5-1 lead before Tibudan and Wabinga lost to Fred Camacho and his partner in the second doubles.
