Committee gearing up for MMAC

The Marianas March Against Cancer is set to take place on May 22-23, 2009, at the Hopwood Junior High School in Chalan Piao. Every year, one of the main highlights of the event is to honor Team Courage. This team consists of people who are currently battling and surviving cancer. If you know of any person interested in participating with Team Courage, email Nora Sablan at norasablan@gmail.com or call her at 285-5124.
At the last Team Captains’ meeting, a briefing of the financial report was done and the Northwest raffle tickets were distributed to the individual team captains. For more raffle tickets or more information on forming a team, email Reina Camacho at reinacamacho@gmail.com or Tara White at tara670@hotmail.com. The next Team Captain’s meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at 5:30pm, at the Hyatt Regency’s Chamolinan Room. Teams are encouraged to take advantage of the Early Bird registration special.
The MMAC committee’s next meeting will be on Thursday, March 12, 2009, at 12pm. The venue will be announced at a later time.
