Confidence in the ‘heart of the people’

So what, Mr. Marvin S. Pangelinan, you really expect the gubernatorial candidates to say “I am not confident enough to win the upcoming gubernatorial election?”

Come on, Marv, there is absolutely nothing to be disrespectful, hotheaded, overconfident, premature, contemptuous, or disappointed about, as you indicated in your letter. Rather, be mindful that every individual gubernatorial candidate who is running is confident enough to win, as expected of themselves. Indeed, it was natural and politically correct for Juan Pan to express himself that way, unless you’re taking it personally, Mr. Pangelinan. Then count me out. In fact, a Saipan Tribune poll dated Feb. 2, 2009, showed Mr. Juan “Pan” T. Guerrero as 67 percent ahead of the other candidates, so what are you really insinuating about? Otherwise, just KISS: Keep it simple, stupid.

Juan Pan is the heart of the people.
