Hyatt’s i Sagua Spa expands treatment menu
The i Sagua Spa at Hyatt Regency Saipan has expanded its signature treatments available for local and off-island guests.
Team leader-therapist Andy Roda said customers can now have a choice of four- and two-hour treatments that adhere to the spa’s four concepts, which is to nourish (bula), restore (tasi), cleanse (ma’te), and energize (hafnot).
Dubbed i Sagua Journeys, the four-hour treatment starts with a unique herbal-infused bath ritual at the spa’s deluxe suite.
Roda said bula intends to flood the body with the nourishing, revitalizing properties of fresh botanicals and essential minerals with treatments utilizing natural elements.
It starts with a Kalachucha Floral Bath Ritual, followed by Tangerine Citrus Polish, Mariana Island Massage, Kalachucha Foot Wrap, and concludes with Kalachucha Flower Facial.
Tasi, meanwhile, consists of a Chamomile Bath Ritual, Aloe and Lavender Wrap, Aromatherapy Massage, and Soothing After Sun Facial.
Ma’te spoils customers with its Purifying Algae Bath Ritual, Back and Shoulder Massage, Mariana Island Herbal Infusion, and Deep Cleansing Facial.
Pine Bath Ritual, Invigorating Thermal Mineral Salt Polish, Muscle Relief Massage, and Antioxidant Vitamin C Facial then awaits those who opt for the hafnot.
i Sagua Retreats, as the two-hour treatment is called, is identical to i Sagua Journeys however the bath ritual is replaced by a foot ritual.
Both treatments conclude with customers being served a delicious plate of seasonal fruits and I Sagua’s signature fruit drink.
In addition to i Sagua Journeys and i Sagua Retreats, customers may also avail of various treatments from the i Sagua a la carte massage list: Mariana Island Signature, Aromatherapy, Volcanic Hot Stone, Muscle Relief, Swedish, Sooting Foot Reflexology, Back, Neck, and Shoulder.
i Sagua also has an array of facial, body polish, and bath ritual treatments available.
i Sagua Spa, which means “channel of water” in Chamorro, occupies a 7,700-square-foot space at Hyatt Regency Saipan and opened in Dec. 21, 2007. It is open from 10am to 10pm Monday to Sunday.
