Bizwoman of the Year nominations close on March 9
The fourth annual Businesswoman of the Year Maga’haga award program recognizes top businesswomen who have made significant contributions to their industries and have shown a strong commitment to their community.
A nominee should be a businesswoman who is a resident of Guam or the Northern Mariana Islands. She is someone who has made a significant difference to business through her organization or through her business; she has contributed to her community; she is a leading representative of her profession or field; and she displays the best qualities of someone in business.
The Maga’haga Award will be presented at the Businesswoman of the Year gala on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at the Hyatt Regency Guam in conjunction with the release of the Guam Business May/June issue, featuring a commissioned photo study of the recipient on its cover. Proceeds from the gala will fund scholarships at the University of Guam, Guam Community College, and Northern Marianas College.
