Manta Rays hold encampment at Ladder Beach

Saipan Southern High School hosted their annual local encampment on Jan. 16-18, 2009 at Ladder Beach—which was the first time the encampment was held at the site. Cadets had the opportunity to experience a rare and exciting training such as rappelling together with Education Commissioner Dr. Rita Sablan. The Manta Ray Battalion cadets were also able to do their water physical training, rope bridge, first-aid challenge, leadership course, and a lot more physical activities.
