POLO to offer new courses

Registration for the home décor plus sewing course at the Philippine Overseas Labor Office is set to begin Sunday, according to the Philippine Consulate General.

The course will be conducted at the Filipino Workers Resource Center, ground floor of the Marianas Business Plaza, Susupe, Saipan for eight Sundays from 9am to 12pm beginning Jan. 18 to March 8, 2009.

Overseas Filipino worker applicants need to have basic sewing skills or able to operate a sewing machine to enroll. Those interested and qualified may file their application at the POLO.

Registration starts on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, on a first-come, first-served basis. Only the first 30 applicants will be admitted to this course. Applicants are requested to bring their entry permit or copy of their CNMI labor renewal processing receipt.
