On the night of Monday, Dec. 22, at Pacific Islands Club’s Charley’s Cabaret, Saipan Southern High School’s Manta Band, Pacific Winds, and Friends of the Arts presented a feast of musical delights that brought the holiday spirit to all for a very worthy cause. All the kids (and adults) that performed are to be commended for truly phenomenal performances. Against the darkness of these hard times, such performers shine as bright lights of hope and promise. They prove that while a few people bring pain and misery to our community, exponentially more bring joy and happiness.

In particular, much thanks and credit go to their maestro, Will DeWitt, whose talent, leadership, and passion have cultivated and inspired a new generation of amazing musicians. Our community is only better because of him and his performers.

Bravo!
