Live fire training today, tomorrow on Farallon

The Emergency Management Office and the U.S. Naval Forces Marianas Guam si warning the public that the U.S. military would be conducting live fire training on the island of Farallon de Mendenilla today and tomorrow, Nov. 9-10.

Today’s training will be from 10:30am to 12:30am. Tomorrow, the training will be from 7am to 6:30pm.

The general location of this activity will be on the island of Farallon de Mendenilla Training Area (R7201) on a 10 nautical mile radius on all quadrants.

Because of the danger inherent to this activity, EMOis strongly advising the public—especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators—to stay away from this area during the time and date indicated.
