TAMUNING, Guam—The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Guam is gearing up to grant its 174th wish this weekend to a young “man” from Saipan. Thirteen-year-old Franklin E. and his family will be in Guam to fulfill his wish for a shopping spree.

As any young teenager would want, Franklin hopes to pick up a few of the latest electronic gadgets as well as a few other things he likes.

Franklin and his family will be enjoying a wonderful stay in Guam courtesy of Hilton Guam Resort & Spa and was invited by event organizers RunTings Unlimited to be a special guest at the Music, Dance & Wishes II event featuring three dance crews from the hit MTV series America’s Best Dance Crew.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. The Guam chapter has been in existence for 22 years servicing children throughout Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands. (PR)
