Roundup of spooktacular events for Halloween
It’s that time of year again. Put on your zombie, witch or Sarah Palin costume; it’s time for Halloween!
Here are some of the events and promotions celebrating the holiday:
Spooky Friday Buddy Night. Come with your guy or ghoul friends and get first drink 50 percent off. Starts at 7pm to close. Wear a costume and win cool Bud gear.
[B]Free Glow Sticks[/B]Pick up your free glow stick today at the MCV Broadband Office or Mobil stations at the following locations: Middle Road, Beach Garapan, Kagman or Susupe. Glow sticks are limited to two per person. Just say “MCV Cable Cares” to get a free glow stick.
[B]Godfather’s Bar[/B]KZMI-FM 103.9 and Godfather’s Bar are linking up for what looks to be one of Saipans’ biggest Halloween parties. The Petron and Miller Lite Halloween Bash will be held at Godfather’s Bar in Garapan tonight starting at 8pm. Everyone at the party wearing a costume will receive one free Miller family product.
There will be fun and games, including Sexy Witch Contest, Werewolf Competition (hairiest back), Vampire Sucking Contest, Best Costume Contest, and the unlucky Draw. There are plenty cash prizes.
[B]Pacific Islands Club[/B]Spooktacular activities for water park patrons from 10 am to 5 pm. Water park pass is $20 per person. Magellan and Water park promo is $25 for adults and $20 for children.
-A draculicious Magellan Dinner Buffet from 6:30 pm to 9pm. $32 for adults and $16 for children
-Gory Haunted house. Doors open at 7 pm. $5 fee. Free entrance for Magellan dinner party patrons.
-Costume contest for adults and kids at 8:45 pm in Charley’s.
-Ghouls, goblins and monsters rage on stage in electrifying production numbers at 9:15pm. Free entrance
[B]Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan[/B]This Garapan landmark promises the biggest tick-or-treat on Saipan, with activities beginning at 10am. They have lined up face paintings, pumpkin carving, outdoor games, Haunted House photo opportunity, a costume parade and contest for the scariest, cutest, sexiest, and by pairs.
There will also be live entertainment: Concert of the Saipan Singing Superstars Kids’ Champions and a Dance Concert featuring the kids of Angel’s International School of Dance.
Fiesta will also have its Friday Seafood Madness: Seafood lunch is $16.99 for adults, $8.49 per child, while Seafood Dinner at 6pm is for $20 for adults and $10 for kids.
[B]Palms Resort Saipan[/B]-Dinner buffet at Fresko Restaurant. 6pm to 9pm. $12 for adult and $8 for children
-Kiddie Full Costume contest to win prizes. Ages 4-11 only.
-Creepy House bottomless beers and sodas at PauPau Bar. 8 pm to 10:30 pm. $15 per person admission fee. Must be 21 years old.
-Halloween weekend room promotion. Friday through Sunday. $77 a night for two, includes room tax and breakfast for two
-Stop by front desk in your Halloween costume on Friday before 9 pm and get a room for $55 a night for two people.
-Face painting from 4 pm to 7 pm
-Trick or treating at 6 pm
[B]Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School[/B]Halloween Haunted House from 5 pm to 9 pm. $1 for students and $2 for adults
Northern Marianas Academy Student Council
Halloween dance from 6pm to 10pm at Garapan Central Park. $5 in advance and $7 at the door
[B]Kagman Haunted House[/B]The Kagman Komunidat Association is inviting the public to the Kagman Haunted House scheduled for today, Oct. 31, at the Kagman Community Center. Doors open at 7pm.
[B]NMC Haunted House[/B]The Associated Students of the Northern Marianas College will be sponsoring a Haunted House today, Oct. 31, 2008. Community members are invited to the event, which will be held from 7:30pm to 11:30pm at NMC’s Building V (Studio Warehouse). Admission price for those 10 years old and younger is 50 cents, and anyone older than 10 years old is $1. Free candy will be distributed at the event!
