Question No. 2 for delegate candidates
Thanks to the delegates who submitted their letters and I will discuss those who did or did not submit their letters at a later date. A large number of voters have been waiting to see what you have to say because your letter is important to them. It is important that people know your “intentions” as this is not a résumé convention. People need to know your “strategy,” not dialog from your friends and family. Thank you gentlemen on behalf of the many people who want to hear what you have to say.
I’m sorry, candidates and voters, about the saboteurs who have tried to disrupt this public forum by attacking me but that is to be expected in any political event that has the potential to determine how people will vote. There will always be “career saboteurs” in public events just as we have career criminals. It is sad that ignorance has to show its ugly face in such an important activity but I’m sure all of you gentlemen are professional enough to deal with the antics of those on the sideline.
I also want to thank those voters who appreciate what I’m trying to do and have taken a genuine interest. Your patience in waiting to read all the questions and all the answers before making a decision to vote or to blast me for trying to help you is deeply appreciated. I’m sure the questions I present in this forum will surely give the people some insight on who is the best person to get their vote.
The second question is “What is your stance on Federalization and how will you approach it as our Delegate to Congress”? Please do not deviate from this question in your answer and follow the same format of 1,000 words. The deadline for your answers will be Oct. 3. The following candidates met the deadline for submitting their answers to the first question: John Oliver Gonzales, Pete A. Tenorio and Chong Won. Their responses will be published this Friday.
