DES sets 4th Parent Summit and Open House tomorrow
Dandan Elementary School, the home of the Tottot, would like to invite everyone again to their 4th Annual Parent Summit-Open House scheduled for tomorrow, Sept. 20, from at 8am to 1pm.
“We are kindly asking that you sacrifice your valuable time to participate in this important summit/orientation. This is one way of learning more about the teachers’ and school’s expectations and also to provide some additional information that will give you a better understanding of what DES has to offer for its students and where we are at today as a school,” said DES principal Jonas Barcinas.
He said it is the school’s responsibility to share the many successes and challenges the DES community is facing in order to get the much-needed support to make the learning institution a better place for its students.
“Our target is always ‘students first.’ That is why we are here to make sure that our children are provided with the best learning tool and skills to help them succeed academically, socially, physically, and spiritually,” said Barcinas.
He is requesting parents and guardians to come and join the summit-open house tomorrow at the DES campus.
“This is an effort to launch open relationship and sharing who we are with our parents and community. You will also be given the opportunity to meet personally with your children’s teachers and have a healthy discussion in regards to their daily learning. Again, thank you and we look forward to seeing you Saturday,” said Barcinas. (PR)
