Thanks for the support

I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to the people of Tinian for taking time to come to the first gathering of my candidacy for the U.S Delegate on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008. Also a special thank you to all my supporters here on Tinian, and all the Tinian leadership for their help, their donations, and their show of support during Saturday’s event.

I want to emphasize to all our supporters in the CNMI that this historical event for us in the CNMI must not be taken lightly. We encourage everyone to come out and vote not only because it is your right but because we really do need a strong voice and strong representation in Washington. We need help from the federal government, and we need to reaffirm our relationship as outlined in our Covenant. We need a delegate with conviction and a strong advocate to our cause and needs. I feel that I can provide that kind of leadership and I ask everyone for their support and vote of confidence.

Again, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all those who helped to make Saturday’s event a success. Un dangkulu na si yu’us maase. I would also like to thank the Democratic Party officials from Rota and Saipan who took time to be with us during this gathering.
