CREAM hosts mock delegate polls tomorrow
The Coalition for Recognition, Equality and Advancement of American Ethnic Minorities, CREAM, will conduct a mock election for the CNMI delegate tomorrow, Sept. 13, 2008.
Ballot specimens are now being distributed to qualified U.S. ethnic minority citizens to vote and choose their favored candidate.
The coalition group will be stationed at the Kilili pavilion on Saturday afternoon, 3pm to 6pm to receive filled-up ballots from its members and other ethnic nationalities who would like to participate in this voting exercise.
As agreed after their deliberation in the meeting on Sept. 6, 2008, at the Buniag (Alanars) Compound, only the top four vote getters will be invited by CREAM to their planned forum to listen, understand, compare, digest, approve and adopt their platforms and program of representation in the U.S. Congress that will benefit the citizenry of the Commonwealth, including the U.S. ethnic minorities and long-time resident contract workers.
