Three teams still unbeaten in open 8-ball league
Three teams are still undefeated after last week’s matches in the 2008 Budweiser Open 8-ball League.
Round 2 D+Q shut out Coral Reef Shark Attack, 4-0, to gain its fourth win in as many games and take the lead in the Agingan Division.
Members of the leading squad are Don Antonio, Ronnie Ringor, Joey Cruz Jr., Boyet Sequioco, and Eric Caisip.
Also winning last week’s matches were the PTI Voyagers, who downed defending champion SaipanCell Hustlers, 3-1. The Voyagers are composed of Jojo Talibong, Roman Rodriguez, Jean Cadag, Rolly Villanueva, and Amor Zapata.
The victory put the Voyages in the second spot in the team standings with their 3-1 record.
The Hustlers dropped to a 1-3 record and are ranked fifth among six teams competing for the title in the Agingan Division.
USSP Wat-Ever and Godfather’s Rock Steady are tied with identical 2-2 records after splitting their games in Week 4.
In the Obyan Division, Primo’s Home Boys and D’Pirates Huwa hold similar 4-0 slates to share the No. 1 spot in the team standings.
The co-leaders posted identical wins in Week 4, blanking USSP Fotten Palau and the Perfect Spotters, respectively.
Primo’s Home Boys are composed of Nolan Cultura, Juancho Mendoza, Jorge Lizardo, Mario Diola, and Franz de Luna. Members of D’Pirates are Johhny Dugos, Serge Tibudan, Erick, Primo, and Mario.
Matches between Coral Reef Barracuda and the VFW Warriors ended in a tie, leaving both teams with similar 2-2 records
The Perfect Spotters and USSP Fotten Palau have yet to win in four games.
